Sunday fun

My hubby planned a night in Flag for us this weekend to celebrate our 7 year anniversary. We realized on our way home that we didn't take any pics :/ However, we had such a great time, ate a delicious dinner at Sakura (our favorite teppanyaki restaurant up there) and enjoyed some good wine, champagne and each other’s company.  I’m one lucky lady!

The weather was just beautiful today when we got home from our quick trip, so we spent a lot of time outside when we got back home with Logan. We are working on getting Logan to ride a two-wheeler bike eventually, so we have started by taking off just one training wheel at a time. He usually ends up going back to his scooter, which is his favorite thing to ride.

Yes, Logan’s helmet is on backward Smile

P.S. I’m sure I will be blogging much more often now, I found an app for my phone that let’s me just blog from there! I’m SOO excited about it!

Weekend Fun!

We started out the weekend going to aviation day. Nick was excited to take us all here because it was at the airport near his work. Logan had so much fun climbing in the planes and seeing everything on display.

Nick and I were also so impressed that Logan was brave enough to try the rock wall that was there, he had so much fun climbing up!

The big 3-0!!

I know I have said this on more than one occasion, but…MY HUBBY ROCKS!  For my 30th birthday, he planned an awesome weekend away in Sedona.  He coordinated and got 11 of our family/friends to join us on this trip.

We went to three different wineries tasting during the day, we all had so much fun!

Javelina Leaf was the first winery, it was the smallest and in most of our opinions had the best wines.  I had our driver take us back there at the end because I wanted a bottle of the Sangiovese (thanks Stokes fam!)

The first winery took us on a tour and explained some of their processes.

The second winery was right next door and had the best service, we had a cute little reserved table and had wine and cheese with our wines here.

The last one was Page Springs and it was the largest, and had some nice outdoor seating for us.

Hehe…Linda’s hubby had to meet up with us after the wineries, so we were teasing that Linda and Max were the couple so that they could share couple plates/tastings Smile  Rick was sure to give Max a hard time about it when he finally arrived!

We came back from the last vineyard and sat on the patio at our hotel.  We had 4 hrs or so until our dinner reservations, and we all sat out here and just talked for the whole time.  It was so much fun!  One of my favorite parts of the trips, just being able to sit and laugh with good company!

This is just a small portion of our evidence…at one point Max went back inside to the bar to get another beer and he couldn’t get a cold glass with it because they told him we have taken all their glasses…oops!

We took a few minutes to run back to our hotel rooms and change for dinner

My hubby had a reserved area at Javelina Cantina for us for dinner.  He had a special little menu made up for our table.

Some how…I made it through my 30th birthday having to take only one shot! Not too bad!

I couldn’t have asked for a better birthday! We had so much fun, and I was so happy to share it with so many great people!  My hubby finished off my birthday weekend with a spa day for me and then a stop at the Coach outlet on the way home, I am one spoiled and blessed lady!  Thanks again to everyone that came along! Love you guys!!
